1. Material Recovery Facility – MRFs
Material Recovery Facility is a centralized solid waste management infrastructure set up with help of the local governments or the residential societies to segregate and value add the waste. An MRF is capable to segregate, sort and upcycle the most dangerous plastic waste by ensuring the safety of workers. Swayambhu has so far set up 3 MRF’s in India which are fully functional and each have a capacity to treat 10 Tonnes of solid waste a day
2. Bio-gas plants
Swayambhu’s flagship initiative is the customizable Bio-gas plants which ranges from household with minimum maintainance to residential/industrial bio gas stations which can treat about 8 Tonnes of wet waste. Each biogas plant can support the users with several byproducts ranging from slurry which is an organic manure, biogas for cooking etc. Swayambhu has successfully set-up 120 bio gas plants across India.
3. Waste to wealth
Swayambhu practices circular economy by collecting the plastic waste and further upcycles by adding value to the upcycled plastic sheets. The upcycled plastic sheets are an alternative for ply-wood and products such as handwash stations, book shelfs in school, public park benches, household furniture, outdoor furniture is created.
4. Sustainability readiness
Swayambhu’s long experience and wide range network with corporates allows it to support and help corporates to smoothly transform into sustainability. With the new ESG rules and mandates, Swayambhu’s experts can help the organization to build capacities of their teams and prepare them to ensure all the sustainability parameters in manufacturing, packaging, ESG compliance etc.
